Services for travel professionals
Your trip to France, in practical terms
Who are your services for, and which travellers do you assist?
Ohlala !... la France works with tour operators and other travel professionals organising stays for their clients in France. The number of travellers is the one stated in the agency’s request, and the arrangements are adapted to that party, its wishes, the services required and the available budget. Our role applies when genuine services are needed in France: accommodation, transfers, visits, dining, activities, assistance or specific attentions.
What types of stays can you organise?
Requests can be very different. We can arrange simple, efficient accommodation for a student group, or a highly personalised stay for people with demanding requirements and very specific attentions. The level of service is defined by the travellers’ profile, the business or leisure nature of the stay, their priorities and the available budget.
What types of accommodation can you offer?
We offer a wide range of accommodation. Depending on the project, we may suggest a palace hotel, a three-, four- or five-star hotel, a guest house, a château, an unusual property or a simpler, practical option. What matters is not the category itself, but how well the property fits the client’s expectations.
What information do you need to prepare a proposal?
We need the dates or intended period, the number and profile of travellers, the available budget and the services required. The client’s priorities are especially important: accommodation, location, food, heritage, pace, accessibility, comfort or a particular experience. The clearer the brief, the more relevant our proposal can be.
How do you select establishments and allocate the budget?
The client’s brief and priorities are the starting point. We do not automatically choose the most luxurious or the cheapest option. A simpler hotel may free up budget for visits, dining or transport; in another project, accommodation may be the central experience. Each choice is made according to what matters most to the travellers.
What makes Ohlala !... la France different from other incoming agencies?
Most of the accommodation, restaurants, sites and experiences we recommend have been visited or tested by our team or by trusted local contributors. This first-hand knowledge helps us prepare arrivals more accurately and anticipate access, coach parking, steps, actual journey times, the condition of a place and the quality of its welcome.
Why use a local agency when everything can be found online?
Online images rarely show the whole physical reality: a difficult road, an unattractive neighbouring building, awkward access, poor cleanliness, a tired renovation or an inconsistent welcome. Whenever we know a place, we explain its real strengths, limitations and price level, and why we selected it for the client’s priorities. Our aim is to describe it honestly, not to embellish it.
How do you check that a programme is genuinely workable?
A programme is more than a list of attractive places. We assess real travel times, opening hours, access, coach parking, steps, the pace of visits and the group’s particular constraints. This prevents overfilled days and difficult connections between two locations, and makes the experience more comfortable once in France.
How does the preparation of a stay work?
The travel professional sends us the travellers’ request, dates, budget and priorities. We analyse the brief and build a coherent proposal in which the most important wishes are clearly represented. Once the programme is approved, we reserve and coordinate the selected services and prepare the practical information needed for the stay, whether it covers one city, several regions or only part of the journey.
Do you only create entirely tailor-made trips?
Tailor-made travel is our core activity, but not every client starts with specific wishes. For the most requested French cities, we also prepare programme outlines for travellers who simply want to discover the essentials. These are working bases rather than fixed packages and can be adapted to the duration, budget, pace and profile of the travellers.

One traveller or a group
The limits are those of the brief and the budget
We work à la carte. The programme may start with a single transfer or combine accommodation, transport, guided visits, dining and original experiences across several regions.
